NEW ALBANY, Miss. (AP) - Union County authorities are holding a memorial service Thursday for an officer who died in the line of duty last December.
The sheriff’s department says the memorial will honor Deputy Clint Frazier’s service to New Albany and Union County.
WTVA-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1r1kV6v ) Frazier was killed Dec. 18, 2013, during a high speed chase near Myrtle.
The memorial will start at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Union County Sheriff’s Department in New Albany.
Officers are expected to unveil a monument in Frazier’s honor at the ceremony.
