PURVIS, Miss. (AP) - Officials say a 42-year-old Purvis woman has been arrested for providing alcohol to minors, after an investigation into an accident that claimed the lives of three teenagers.

The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1wOEyOy ) Kristi Morris was charged with six counts of violating the social host law, six counts of furnishing beer or light wine to a person under 21 years old and one count of possession of beer or light wine in a dry county.

The charges were the result of an investigation into a Sept. 25 car accident near Purvis in which 17-year-old Justin Kelly, 16-year-old Carrigan Arban and 16-year-old Reagan Woolbright were killed.

Authorities say Morris surrendered on Wednesday.

If convicted, she faces up to 21 months in prison, fines, and community service.

It was unclear whether Morris has an attorney.
