FONTANA, Calif. (AP) - Southern California authorities have arrested three women they say kidnapped a 14-year-old girl who tried to sell them a puppy through Craigslist.

The San Bernardino County Sun (https://bit.ly/1C7Tauf ) says the girl and her father drove from Phelan in San Bernardino County to a Fontana shopping center on Monday to meet the buyers.

Fontana police say after the girl handed over the puppy, one woman pulled a gun and the girl was forced into a stolen car.

Police say she was released after telling the robbers she was underage but two women drove off with the puppy, cash and personal items.

The third woman was arrested at the scene. The other two were arrested later in the car.

The girl and her father got back their puppy and their stolen goods.
