BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - A former Boulder police officer is accused of stalking and making threats against his ex-wife.

Twenty-nine-year-old Ryan Wagner was arrested Oct. 2 while he was still an officer but resigned soon afterward. He is facing three felony counts.

The Daily Camera (https://bit.ly/1xtOzDF ) reports that Wagner is the eighth Boulder police officer arrested since 2011 and the second this year. The newspaper wasn’t able to reach him for comment.

Wagner joined the department in July 2013. Police Chief Greg Testa said Wagner was still in his probationary period when he was arrested.

In court documents, prosecutors say Wagner told his ex-wife, who lived in Aurora, that he would “make her life miserable” and that there would be a shootout if she went to police.
