PHOENIX (AP) - Governor-elect Doug Ducey has chosen who will play key roles on his senior staff when he takes office next month.

Ducey announced Thursday that Danny Seiden, a special assistant county attorney in the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, will serve as deputy chief of staff for external affairs and policy development.

Ducey also named Ted Vogt, who served in the state House from 2010 until 2013, as his chief of operations. An Air Force veteran who served in Afghanistan, Vogt was veterans services’ director for Gov. Jan Brewer in June 2013.

Ducey deputy campaign manager Sara Mueller will be a senior adviser.

Arizona Chamber Foundation executive director Gretchen Martinez will serve as Ducey’s director of legislative affairs.
