LEWES, Del. (AP) - The Delaware State Fire Marsha’s office is investigating a second fire at a mobile home park in Lewes that followed an earlier fatal fire.

Firefighters were called to the Tall Pines park about 8:40 a.m. Thursday. Three travel trailers were damaged in the fire. No injuries were reported.

Investigators determined the fire was accidental and was caused when an electrical extension cord malfunctioned and ignited nearby materials.

During the overnight hours Thursday, a separate early morning fire swept through a travel trailer at the same mobile home park, killing one person. A separate investigation is underway in that fire.
