DURHAM, N.H. (AP) - A hunter has pleaded guilty to hunting with a suspended license and to illegally possessing a deer.

The New Hampshire Department of Fish and Game says the misdemeanor charges against 55-year-old Mark Hayden stemmed from a complaint about illegal deer baiting during the fall. He also was charged with four department violations related to the deer.

The department said conservation officers found Hayden hunting with a bow and arrow. They said a search of his home and property showed evidence linking him to the illegal bait site and deer kill.
