HELENA, Mont. (AP) - Montana’s unemployment rate dropped slightly to 4.3 percent in November.

The rate is down 0.2 percentage points from October.

The state’s unemployment rate has decreased by a full percentage point since January. The U.S. unemployment rate remained unchanged over the month at 5.8 percent.

State Labor Commissioner Pam Bucy says expectations are for Montana to a strong holiday season this month in retail and tourism.

Bucy says the economy is expected to continue growing into next year.
