PHOENIX (AP) - A woman accused of fatally shooting a man and injuring another outside a Phoenix sports bar has been sentenced to 43 years in prison.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 29-year-old Jessica Wood was sentenced Friday.

At a change of plea hearing last month, Wood pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.

Wood was charged in a March 21 shooting outside Zipps Sports Grill in north-central Phoenix.

Police say she approached two men shortly before midnight and opened fire without provocation.

Investigators believe Wood was under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time of the incident.

Police say Thomas Allen Marcussen died from his injuries while James Swain survived the shooting.
