HESPERUS, Colo. (AP) - Blinding sun is being blamed for a school bus accident after the driver of the school bus ran into the rear end of an SUV near Hesperus.

Authorities say a student suffered a bruised lip and the driver of the SUV was treated for minor injuries following the accident on Friday morning.

The Colorado State Patrol says the school bus driver didn’t see the SUV.

According to the Durango Herald (https://tinyurl.com/mu9qrg4 ), the school bus driver was cited for careless driving that resulted in bodily injury.
