MANASSAS, Va. (AP) - Prince William County police say they have arrested a man suspected of shooting three people outside of an apartment complex in Manassas.

Police say 25-year-old Justin Hunter Platt has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding and is being held without bond.

Police say officers arrived at a hospital just after 10 p.m. on Friday after receiving reports of shots fired in the area.

Police say a 27-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and a 49-year-old woman was treated for a non-life-threatening head wound. The third victim, a 17-year-old, suffered a gunshot wound to his knee.

Police say an investigation revealed that after getting into an argument outside of an apartment complex, Platt went into his house, retrieved a rifle and opened fire.

Police say Platt turned himself in on Saturday.
