CLEAR BROOK, Va. (AP) - Virginia State Police say they’ve received numerous tips in a fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in Frederick County.

State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller said Saturday that no arrests have been made in the death of 15-year-old Tristan K. Long of Clear Brook. The victim was walking along a road toward his residence when he was struck from behind Friday morning. The driver fled the scene.

Geller says State Police are working through the weekend trying to locate a Volkswagen Beetle with damage to its front left side and possibly the driver’s side.
