BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Former heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield and ex-Alabama quarterback Jay Barker are among the Class of 2015 for the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame.

The eight-man class was announced on Sunday.

It also includes three former Auburn and professional football players: offensive lineman Chris Gray, defensive back Bobby Hunt and fullback Tony Richardson.

Former Alabama basketball stars Ennis Whatley and Derrick McKey will also be inducted. Both were first-round draft picks who had lengthy NBA careers.

The class also includes Tommy Neville, a former Mississippi State and NFL player.

Barker led Alabama to the 1992 national championship. Holyfield is the only five-time heavyweight champion.

The induction ceremony will be held at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel on May 16.
