BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Police in Buffalo are investigating the city’s third fatal shooting in four days.

Local media report that the latest shooting occurred around 3:15 a.m. Monday on Manhattan Avenue, where a 23-year-old woman was shot and killed. A 26-year-old man was wounded. He was treated at a hospital and released. No other details have been released.

Officials say 44-year-old Willie Barksdale died at Erie County Medical Center after he was shot around 2 a.m. Sunday.

Police say a 16-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man were hit by gunfire as they sat inside a car late Friday night. The teen died Saturday afternoon at ECMC.

Officials say a fourth shooting that occurred late Sunday afternoon has left a 15-year-old boy in stable condition.

It’s not known if any of the shootings are related.
