STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) - A Bridgeport man has been charged with attempted murder after police say he fired into an occupied car in Stamford and continued to shoot while being chased along Interstate 95 into Norwalk.

The Stamford Advocate reports (https://bit.ly/1rctP14) that Robert Hudson was charged with attempted murder, possession of a pistol by a felon and other charges related to the Friday night incident. Police say no one was injured.

He is being held in lieu of $500,000 bond.

Police say several rounds of gunfire went through a car’s windshield in Stamford. Police say 26-year-old Shameka McNairn fled the car with Hudson and that she’ll be charged with conspiracy to commit attempted murder and other offenses.

It was not known Monday morning if Hudson or McNairn is represented by a lawyer.
