COQUILLE, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say they pulled two trapped farmers from waist-deep water in Coos County after a tractor accident.

The sheriff’s department says the two were a father and son from Coquille (koh-KEEL’).

First responders got to them with a drift boat about 7 p.m. Sunday. Neither was injured, and they went on their way after medical personnel checked them.

The accident happened in the Norway area along Oregon 42 between Coquille and Myrtle Point. The sheriff’s department says the tractor flipped.

The farmers were identified as 25-year-old Nathan Ross and 56-year-old Robert Ross.
