ELLENDALE, Del. (AP) - Delaware State police say a bicyclist injured in a collision with a car in Ellendale has died.

Troopers say 64-year-old Collin Worth of Ellendale died Tuesday at Christiana Hospital, where he was flown after Friday’s crash.

Police say Worth was riding his bike south in the northbound lane on Hummingbird Road. Troopers say 18-year-old Muneer Aziz of Ellendale was driving north and did not see Worth and swerved to try to avoid hitting him.

Authorities say Aziz’s car hit Worth, throwing him onto the windshield. Troopers say Worth was not wearing a helmet.

No charges have been filed, and the incident remains under investigation.
