KALKASKA, Mich. (AP) - A body found in northern Michigan’s Boardman River has been identified as a 28-year-old woman missing since October.

Police say it’s Connie Snyder of Kalkaska. She’s been missing since Oct. 18.

Kalkaska Police Chief Kevin Rohn says the area had been checked many times by Snyder’s friends and other searchers. He tells the Traverse City Record-Eagle (https://bit.ly/1v9Wsao ) there were no obvious signs of trauma on the body. A cause of death hasn’t been determined.

Kalkaska is 25 miles east of Traverse City.
