LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The morning commute has been a tough one for motorists who travel Interstate 440 in North Little Rock.

Eastbound traffic on I-440 was at a standstill Tuesday morning after a wreck involving a tractor-trailer truck.

Arkansas State Police say all three lanes of the highway were blocked after the multiple-vehicle wreck shortly before 9 a.m. Westbound traffic was not affected. The ArkansasOnline live traffic map showed stalled conditions remained after 11 a.m.

The truck toppled over into the median, spilling some of its load of gravel or dirt. It wasn’t immediately known if anyone was injured. Officials say they do not know how long the highway would be blocked.
