FOX LAKE, Wis. (AP) - Authorities say a Brookfield man is dead after the all-terrain vehicle he was on plunged into Fox Lake.

Two others in his group were rescued and have been treated.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s office says Tuesday evening’s incident on southern bay also resulted in the non-life threatening injury of a responding police officer. Several police, fire and medical responders were involved in the rescue of the two other ATV riders.

The man who died is Steven Kellerman, a 41-year-old from Brookfield.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources was conducting an investigation. Officials are warning that people use extreme caution on frozen waterways because ice conditions are varying due to warm weather.
