FRANKLIN, Tenn. (AP) - Two independent theatres in Middle Tennessee are among those that will screen “The Interview” on Christmas Day.

The Tennessean (https://tnne.ws/1t8qNw9) reports the Belcourt Theatre in Nashville and the Franklin Theatre in downtown Franklin will show the movie as part of a limited release of the film.

The political satire about a plot to kill North Korean leader Kim Jong Un prompted a cyberattack on Sony Entertainment and a threat of violence if the movie wasn’t pulled.

Sony announced last week that it wouldn’t show the movie, but reversed course this week after public outcry and criticism from President Barack Obama.

The film will be shown in about 200 theaters nationwide.
