CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Wildlife officials are asking for the public’s help in finding the person who shot and killed four mule deer does and fawns near Kemmerer.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1JQZETa ) the carcasses were found dumped in the Wheat Creek area during the Thanksgiving holiday. The deer were most likely killed with a small-caliber gun, and most of the meat was taken.

Anyone with information about the poaching is asked to call Game and Fish warden Chris Baird at 307-877-3278.
