PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - The hunting season is set to reopen for antlerless deer tags in the East River and West River areas of South Dakota.

The state Game, Fish and Parks Department says the season will not reopen in many deer hunting units where no antlerless tags were issued.

The season resumes Dec. 27 and runs through Jan. 4.
