HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Police are calling the death of a man found unconscious in a burning home in Henderson a homicide.

Henderson police spokeswoman Kathleen Richards said Wednesday the man had injuries that suggested foul play when firefighters responding to a 911 call found him late Tuesday the house in a neighborhood near Anthem Parkway and Hampton Road.

The man was pronounced dead at St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena Campus of unspecified injuries that Richards says were unrelated to the fire.

His name wasn’t immediately made public by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Police say the man’s black 2015 Toyota 4Runner with Nevada license plates was missing from outside the house.
