CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The Equality State Policy Center has announced that a Wyoming native is taking over as interim executive director.

The center announced Tuesday that Brianna Jones will start as interim director in January. She is replacing retiring Executive Director Dan Neal, who has served in the position for the past ten years.

Jones is a 2009 University of Wyoming graduate in International Studies and Political Science. Since graduating, she has worked across the country with nonprofit organizations.

Neal will continue to consult for the center to ensure a smooth transition.

The center works on tax policy and social issues and commonly testifies on issues pending before the Wyoming Legislature.
