SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - The National Weather Service has canceled winter weather advisories for Indiana.

The weather service previously had predicted that 2 to 4 inches were possible in some areas of the state on Wednesday, but by late afternoon temperatures were in the high 30s and low 40s.

Weather service meteorologist Evan Bentley says some light snow may fall in northern Indiana Wednesday night, but it isn’t expected to stick to roads because the ground is too warm.
