FRIENDSWOOD, Texas (AP) - More than 30 vehicle burglaries or attempted thefts have been reported in a Houston-area city where police say three guns were the items stolen.

Friendswood police are checking home security video to try to identify the thieves.

Police believe at least two people are responsible for the thefts Monday and Tuesday mornings in residential neighborhoods. Foggy conditions early Tuesday limited some surveillance images.

Friendswood police say many of the targeted vehicles were unlocked.
