DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - The Dayton VA Medical Center plans to celebrate Christmas Eve with a candlelight service.

The nondenominational event features an audio visual presentation. It will be in the main lobby of the hospital at 7 p.m. Wednesday. This will be the sixth annual service at the southwest Ohio facility.

The Veterans Affairs hospital says veterans and the public are invited.

The Dayton VA has been serving patients dating to Civil War veterans since 1867.
