FAIRMOUNT HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) - Prince George’s County Police have identified the woman who was killed when the car she was driving crashed into the back of a tow truck in Fairmount Heights.

Officers say Wednesday that 29-year-old Lashawn Childs of Washington died at a hospital shortly after the Dec. 18 crash.

Police say Childs was traveling west on Sheriff Road at 61st Avenue when she hit the back of the tow truck that was stopped to make a left turn onto 61st Avenue.

The tow truck driver and his passenger were not hurt.

The crash is under investigation.
