SHELTON, Conn. (AP) - State police are investigating a report of multiple gunshots fired at a vehicle traveling on Route 8 in Shelton.

One person was grazed in the neck and released after treatment at Bridgeport Hospital.

Troopers received a 911 call early Wednesday, at about 1:15 a.m., from an occupant of a car traveling north on Route 8. The caller said someone in a Buick sedan had just fired multiple shots at their car. Five males were in the caller’s vehicle at the time of the shooting incident.

Members of the Seymour Police Department later located both vehicles and the occupants.

No arrests had been made as of Wednesday afternoon. State police detectives conducted interviews and searched for evidence in Seymour and along Route 8 northbound.
