ORTING, Wash. (AP) - The police chief of the small Pierce County town of Orting, Washington, says two men have been taken to a hospital after a stabbing outside a restaurant.

Orting Valley Fire and Rescue said one of the injured was in critical condition.

The News Tribune reports (https://is.gd/xjiMls) that Chief Bill Drake says a Tuesday evening altercation apparently involved four men. Drake says police arrested one of the two men who weren’t taken to a hospital. They were questioning the other.

Orting is southeast of Tacoma.
