SHELTON, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut State Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in which a person riding in a car suffered a graze wound to the neck.

Authorities say a person inside the car called 911 at 1 a.m. Wednesday to report that somebody in a passing car fired multiple shots at their vehicle. At the time the car was traveling north on Route 8 in Shelton.

The victim was treated and released from a hospital. Police say investigators located the shooter’s vehicle but no arrests have been made.

A police dog was brought in to help with the search for evidence along Route 8 in Seymour and Shelton.
