CAMAS, Wash. (AP) - Authorities in the southwest Washington community of Camas say a woman pushing a stroller has been struck and killed by a vehicle.

The Columbian reports (https://is.gd/rifPvM) that Camas Fire Chief Nick Swinhart said the woman was dead with firefighters reached the scene late Tuesday afternoon. Police say the child in the stroller appeared to be unhurt but was taken to a hospital for an evaluation.

The relationship between the woman and child wasn’t immediately clear.

The woman was not identified.

Police say the driver is cooperating with the police investigation.
