COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Two people suspected in an armored vehicle heist in Amarillo, Texas, were arrested Wednesday at a Colorado Springs hotel.

Police say they arrested Trent Michael Cook, the 24-year-old driver of the armored vehicle. A second suspected accomplice was arrested but not identified.

The Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/13GTm7L ) that Colorado Springs police were tipped by Amarillo authorities where to find Cook and the accomplice. Police did not elaborate.

The $200,000 stolen in the robbery has been recovered.

Cook and the money had been missing since Monday morning, when the armored car was found running and the cargo was gone.
