ATLANTA (AP) - State wildlife officials are inviting hunters to a series of public meetings on hunting regulations for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.

Georgia Department of Natural Resources officials say the meetings are sponsored by the Wildlife Resources Division and are designed to give people a chance to get involved in the development process.

Meetings are scheduled between Jan. 5 and Jan. 8 throughout the state and begin at 7 p.m. A list of locations the eight meetings are being hosted at may be found online.
