STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES - Cardinals snapped four-game skid against 49ers in September win, just Arizona’s second victory in 11 matchups. … Arizona goes into season finale tied with Seahawks (11-4) for first in NFC West but Seattle holds tiebreaker with two wins over Cardinals. Seattle win at home over St. Louis clinches NFC’s top seed. … Cardinals outscored Niners 17-0 in second half of September meeting. Drew Stanton threw two third-quarter touchdown passes to rookie John Brown in rally. … Cardinals coming off most one-sided loss under coach Bruce Arians. … Arians began week planning to start rookie quarterback Logan Thomas but will go with Ryan Lindley in regular-season finale as Stanton recovers from sprained right knee. Stanton had arthroscopic surgery Friday to deal with infection. … Thomas’ one completion in nine attempts was 81-yard touchdown pass to Andre Ellington. Lindley has no TD passes in 225 career attempts. … Arizona has gone two games without a touchdown, scoring all 18 of its points on field goals. … Jim Harbaugh could be coaching final game for 49ers, with one year remaining on $25 million, five-year contract signed in January 2011. Team missed playoffs for first time in four-year tenure after three straight NFC championship game appearances. … San Francisco also has first skid of more than two games under Harbaugh with four straight losses. … 49ers RB Frank Gore needs 38 yards for fourth consecutive 1,000-yard season and eighth in 10 NFL seasons. He’d be 11th player in NFL history with eight 1,000-yard seasons. Could be pending free agent’s last game in San Francisco uniform, though both sides are hopeful that won’t happen. … Niners’ 355 yards rushing last Saturday against Chargers most in franchise history and most by NFL team since Minnesota’s 378 vs. San Diego on Nov. 4, 2007. … Last meeting, 49ers were without TE Vernon Davis (ankle injury), his backup Vance McDonald (knee), RT Anthony Davis (hamstring) and CB Tramaine Brock (toe).
