HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - The Clark County coroner’s office says the man found unconscious in a burning home in Henderson died from multiple stab wounds, cuts and asphyxia.

The coroner’s office identified the man Friday as 20-year-old Walter Zhongcheng Wu of Henderson.

Wu’s death is being treated as a homicide.

Firefighters found Wu inside the burning home near Anthem Parkway and Hampton Road late Tuesday. He was pronounced dead at St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena Campus.

Wu’s black 2015 Toyota 4Runner with Nevada license plates was missing from outside the Henderson house when he was found.

Henderson police spokeswoman Kathleen Richards says the car was found Friday, abandoned outside an apartment complex near Boulder Highway and Flamingo Road. The location is about a 30-minute drive north of the house that burned.
