MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - Authorities are searching for two snowmobilers who went missing while trying to cross Seeley Lake.

Missoula County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Paige Pavalone says five men were trying to cross the lake in a convoy Friday night but just two made it to shore. A third snowmobiler, a 45-year-old man who fell through the ice, was taken to a hospital for treatment of hypothermia.

Pavalone did not know the condition of the ice as the men were trying to cross.

Ice divers are helping in the search.
