PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) - New Jersey Transit says the Dinky train service in Princeton has been suspended due to mechanical problems.

The trouble was discovered around 6:30 a.m. Friday, but further details have not been disclosed. Agency officials said it wasn’t clear when the two-car train service would be restored.

Shuttle buses are running between downtown Princeton and the Princeton Junction station in West Windsor to serve riders who normally use the Dinky. The buses will remain in service until the train returns to service.
