FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A North Dakota man has been arrested after he used a shovel to break some windows and was involved in a domestic dispute.

The 26-year-old Daniel Habiger, of Fargo, is facing charges of aggravated assault and criminal mischief.

Fargo Police Lt. Joel Vettel tells WDAY-TV (https://bit.ly/1rpHORj ) that officers responded to a report of a man breaking windows, and upon arrival, they found Habiger without shoes and with cuts to his feet that appeared to have been caused by glass.

Vettel says officers then discovered that he had been involved in a domestic dispute in which the victim reportedly suffered injuries to the head after being hit several times and choked.

Vettel says police believe alcohol was a factor in the incident.

Habiger’s attorney didn’t immediately return a call seeking comment.
