HERNANDO, Miss. (AP) - A 29-year-old Olive Branch woman has been charged with DUI-death related to a Thanksgiving night fatal two-vehicle accident in DeSoto County.

Authorities say Diana Lynn Anderson is being held on a $200,000 bond in the DeSoto County jail. It is not known if she has an attorney.

The Commercial Appeal reports (https://bit.ly/1t2sNAb ) the accident occurred on U.S. 69 about 6:30 p.m.

Authorities say it appeared Anderson was going eastbound in the westbound lanes when her car struck another vehicle.

Authorities say 59-year-old Hai Thi Lam of Olive Branch, a passenger in the westbound car, was killed.

Anderson also is charged with DUI-with-bodily-injury in connection with injuries to Lam’s husband, who was driving their vehicle.
