HULL, Ill. (AP) - A 32-year-old woman has died in a house fire in the western Illinois community of Hull.

The Jacksonville Journal-Courier reports (https://bit.ly/1x8Alql) firefighters found the woman in a bedroom and pulled her from the single-story house Friday morning. The victim, April L. Priest, was pronounced dead about an hour later.

Authorities say a passer-by reported smoke and flames coming from the home.

Crews from Illinois and Missouri fire departments helped at the scene. The Illinois State Fire Marshal’s office is conducting an investigation.

Hull is located about 20 miles south of Quincy.
