BLYTHE, Calif. (AP) - A huge haystack has burned in eastern Riverside County outside of Blythe.

The county Fire Department says the blaze was reported at 3:51 a.m. Thursday along Highway 78 in the agricultural region near the Colorado River.

The haystack contained about 2,200 bales stacked 150 feet wide and 15 feet high.
