MCCOMB, Miss. (AP) - Longtime Pike County?Chancery Clerk Doug Touchstone won’t seek re-election next year.
The 71-year-old Touchstone is in his fourth term of office. His term expires in January 2016. Elections are in 2015.
Touchstone tells the Enterprise-Journal (https://bit.ly/1vlNBSQ ) that the time is right to retire.
Touchstone says his wife, Judy, continues to be treated for cancer and he wants to spend more time with her.
