STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Demetrius Market intercepted three passes, including one in overtime, to lead South Panola to a 27-21 victory over defending champion Oak Grove in the Mississippi High School Activities Association 6A title game on Sunday.

This is the 11th state title for South Panola (15-0) and their second in three years.

Oak Grove (13-2) erased a 21-10 fourth quarter deficit to force overtime, but Cameron Myers threw his fourth interception of the night on 3rd-and-goal. Darrell Henderson ran for a 10-yard touchdown on South Panola’s first play to end the game.

South Panola had 367 total yards of offense, including 255 on the ground. Henderson ran for 196 yards and two touchdowns. Market had two catches on offense, one for a touchdown.

The game started on Friday night but was postponed to Sunday due to a power outage and heavy rain. South Panola led 7-0 in the first quarter when play resumed.
