RENO, Nev. (AP) - Authorities are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of suspects wanted in connection with a shot fired in front of a fraternity at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Police are seeking two men that Sigma Nu frat members confronted about 4 a.m. Sunday when they saw them tampering with holiday lights on a fence on Ralston Street north of downtown.

They say one of the men fired a handgun into the ground in front of them.

The shooter is descried as a white male with a tattoo on the inside of his right forearm. He’s approximately 5-foot-10, 175 pounds with long blonde hair, a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
