VALDOSTA, Ga. (AP) - Police in south Georgia say they confiscated more than 12,000 DVDs while raiding a movie bootlegging operation.

Valdosta Police Lt. Aaron Kirk tells the Valdosta Times (https://bit.ly/1w83QXt ) 34-year-old Robert Tamarcus Mitchell was arrested Friday on charges of reproduction of recorded material and is being held in the Lowndes County jail.

The newspaper reports Mitchell was arrested on similar charges in July and deputies recovered more than 10,000 bootlegged DVDs and equipment that was likely used to reproduce the movies.

It’s unclear if Mitchell has an attorney.
