ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. (AP) - Police say a man killed behind a western Pennsylvania grocery store apparently was beaten to death by his ex-wife and her son.

Police say Lisa Jones-Orock and Zachary Jones have confessed to beating 57-year-old Fombell resident Gerald Lee Orock Jr. with a club near the loading dock of Loccisano’s Golden Dawn late Sunday night. The store is in the woman and her son’s hometown, Ellwood City, about 35 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.

Police in March had charged Jones-Orock with trying to slice Orock’s genitals with a box cutter. But those charges were dropped. Police say the couple had a history of domestic disputes.

Jones-Orock and her son were in custody and awaiting arraignment Monday on criminal homicide charges. Online court records don’t list attorneys for them.
