CHATANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - Eric Robertson scored 16 points and Chattanooga crushed NAIA-member Montreat 104-50 on Monday.

Robertson was 6 of 9 from the floor, including 4 of 6 beyond the arc and Chattanooga (4-5) shot 56 percent overall, including 10 of 19 on 3-pointers. Duke Ethridge scored 14 points with seven rebounds, Greg Pryor and Ronrico White added 12 apiece while Chuck Ester and Tre’ McLean had 11. The Mocs out-rebounded undermanned Montreat 46-26 and had 20 steals, prompting 28 Montreat turnovers.

Montreat was paced by Melvin Irvin with 16 points on 7-of-12 shooting.

Chattanooga never trailed in the game and raced out to a 21-2 lead 6 ½ minutes into the game as Montreat missed 10 of its first 11 shots. Chattanooga led 58-26 at the break and a three-point play by McLean pushed the lead past 40 points.
