LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (AP) - Leaders from across New York’s North Country are meeting this week to discuss economic issued facing communities in the Adirondack Mountains.

The Post-Star of Glens Falls reports (https://bit.ly/1ARWngE ) that members of the Adirondack Association of Towns and Villages are meeting Monday morning at the Holiday Inn in Lake George, followed by the Adirondack Economic Strategies Implementation Conference.

The focus of the conference is Advantage Adirondacks, a grant-funded report on strategy development and implementation for economic plans within the six-million acre Adirondack Park.

The report took two years to complete and was funded by a $123,000 grant from the state Department of Environmental Conservation.
